Built-in PS5 recording feature
- Use Create button: Press the Create button on your DualSense controller to access recording options
- Automatic background recording: PS5 continuously records the last 15 seconds to 1 hour of gameplay
- Adjust recording length: Customize the duration in settings, up to 1 hour maximum
- Resolution options:
- 1080p at 60 FPS (default)
- Up to 4K resolution when connected to a compatible display
- HDR recording: Available when connected to an HDR-compatible display
- Audio options: Include microphone and voice chat audio in recordings
How to start recording
- Press the Create button during gameplay
- Select “Start New Recording” from the menu
- To stop, press the Create button again and choose “Stop Recording”

- Choose between 1920×1080 gold 3840 x 2160 resolutions
