Thomas Pestock is an American professional wrestler born September 13, 1984. He performs under the ring name Baron Corbin and is currently signed to WWE, where he performs under the Smackdown brand under the name Happy Corbin.
Baron Corbin’s WWE career
Baron Corbin signed with WWE in 2012 and stayed with NXT for about four years. He was not featured on NXT every week and was rarely seen in a match, leading to a slow start to his career. In 2016, he made his debut for the main team and left his mark in the men’s division.
In 2017, he became the American champion and had also won the Money in the Bank ladder match that year. He quickly became an authority figure and began working as the interim general manager of Raw. Although his work was not up to par, he remained director for about a year.
He won the King of the Ring tournament in 2019, but lost it to Shinsuke Nakamura in 2021. Since then, his career has been on the decline and the lone wolf is rarely seen with respect. Even though Corbin worked hard in WWE, he rarely gets credit for it.
