Brendan Schaub and Brian Ortega discuss Shia LaBeouf’s crazy behavior on the set of their film “The Tax Collector”, a 2020 American action thriller written, directed and produced by David Ayer.
Brendan Schaub, called “thick boy‘,’ had Brian Ortega on his show with the Calabasas Fight Companion where they traded dirt from Hollywood celebrities. Brian and Brendan reveal that the former didn’t get along well with LaBeouf on the set of “The Tax Collector.”
According to them, Shia wasn’t really the best actor because he was very engrossed in the role on set, which meant he was very rude while filming the film. Apparently, the Shiites even attacked a person who played the role of a rival gang member in the film, but the two began arguing on camera. This meant that Shia and the “rival gangster” were engaged in staring contests on set and special precautions had to be taken to keep the two separated. This behavior pissed off everyone on set.
Eventually, this resulted in Shia attempting to pick a fight with Brian. Shia was so aggressive that after a long day of filming, he started trash talking, leading Brian to slam Shia against a table. He apparently tried to fight back and punched another group member in the face, but it all ended with Shia being choked.
Looks like Shia tried the tough guy routine on the wrong day. Hopefully this interaction won’t affect Brian’s acting career in any way.
Bert Kreischer talks about the hilarious fight between Shia LaBeouf and Brian Ortega

Ortega, speaking about his interaction with LaBeouf, brought a lot of attention to the incident, and comedian Bert Kreischer spoke about it on the Joe Rogan Experience. However, he seemed more impressed with Brian than the fight itself, as Brian’s storytelling ability far exceeded that of a normal fighter.
He said, “I examined Ortega thoroughly. He was part of Schaub’s Calabasas escort. And probably one of the most interesting people I’ve ever heard of. He’s an actor and he just doesn’t present himself as an actor…. Brian Ortega was in a movie with Shia LaBeouf.
“Brian Ortega was in that movie with Shia LaBeouf and he told this crazy story of Shia trying to fight him… Ortega, the way he told the story was really good storytelling.», Bert continues.
