Paul Heyman, Child American Wrestling Manager, Paul Heyman was born on September 11, 1965, in the Bronx, New York, United States of America.

By age 11, he was running a home consignment business selling sports and celebrity memorabilia. As a teenager, he quickly worked his way backstage as a photojournalist at a World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) event at Madison Square Garden.

The company rewarded him for some of his images. He graduated from Edgemont High School.

He went to SUNY Purchase, worked as a radio host for Westchester Community College radio station WARY-FM in New York, and attended SUNY Purchase.

In 1985, when he was 19, he began working as a photographer, producer and promoter for Studio 54 in New York.

Paul Heyman’s career

Heyman is an American professional wrestler manager, photographer, manager and former promoter. He is currently signed to WWE, where he can be seen in various capacities on the SmackDown brand as a “sage” and “special advisor” to Roman Reigns.

Heyman made his professional wrestling debut in 1986. He was born in the Bronx to Holocaust survivors.

From 1993 until the end of Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in 2001, he was its CEO and was considered its creative director.

Before founding ECW, he worked as a manager for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and other companies under the name Paul E. Dangerously.

He was personally named one of the Top 100 Global Marketers by Advertising Age and is co-owner of the Looking4Larry agency in New York.

The Big Show, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are the six world champions that Heyman has managed or held as a manager in WWE. His leadership and public speaking skills have been praised by critics.

Heyman also competed in occasional matches, most notably in the WWE Championship main event at the 2002 Rebellion pay-per-view tournament.

Many wrestling colleagues and observers praised Heyman’s skills as a promoter and booker. A second former ECW World Heavyweight Champion, Tazz, also called Heyman a “genius”, and veteran WWE analyst and manager Jim Cornette called him a “genius”. Former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Raven called him “the most creative genius the industry has ever seen.”

According to many, Heyman is one of the best speakers in the annals of professional wrestling.

However, Heyman has a reputation for having a tough attitude and has been involved in a number of feuds with wrestlers including Anderson, AJ Styles and Gallows.

Tommy Dreamer, a former ECW wrestler, spoke at WrestleMania X-Seven about his assassination attempt on Heyman because Heyman had financially mistreated Dreamer.

Heyman is co-founder of The Looking4Larry Agency, a renowned New York firm. With its early marketing efforts, the company set a new standard by partnering with Electronic Arts, THQ Video Games, 2K Sports, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas.

Brock Lesnar and Heyman also worked together on his book Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival.

WWE Judgment Day, WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw, WWE 2K14, WWE 2K15, WWE 2K16, WWE 2K17, WWE 2K18, WWE 2K19, WWE 2K20, WWE 2K22, and WWE 2K23 all feature him as a playable character.

In the WWE film Countdown and the 2002 film Rollerball, Heyman played a sports broadcaster.

He was chosen by I Am Legend executive producer Michael Tadross to play “Gino” in the film version of the long-running off-Broadway play “Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding” when the original actor had to leave in due to a family emergency.
