Just days after his arrest for domestic violence Chuck Liddell filed for divorce from his wife Heidi Northcott. The UFC Hall of Famer was arrested Monday by Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department officers and held on $20,000 bail. He was released the same day.
After his release, Chuck Liddell claimed on Instagram that he was a victim of abuse and blamed his wife Heidi Northcott. Liddell also indicated that he would depart from his view: “As the details of the case will show, I was the victim of the incident that occurred last night in our family home. The police informed me that my wife would be arrested because I did not respond to her attack and that I also suffered bruises and cuts.
He further wrote: I volunteered to go in his place. It has become painfully clear that this cannot continue when our personal lives have now reached a public breaking point..”
