Devin Booker’s parents, American basketball player Devin Armani Booker, were born on October 30, 1996, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Booker is the son of Melvin Booker, who played point guard for Missouri in 1994 and was named Big Eight Player of the Year, and Veronica Gutiérrez, a beautician.

His parents came together when his father was competing for the Grand Rapids Hoops of the Continental Basketball Association in Gutiérrez’s hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
