The 70-year-old American Michael Kis left the internet stunned as he completed the 100 meters in less than 14 seconds. According to a news source, Kish finished Thursday’s race at the Penn Relays with an impressive time of 13.47 seconds. Sydney McLaughlin set a record at the same event.
Mr. Kish truly proved that age is just a number. He achieved a very good time in his performance category and won the 100 meters title in the 70-year-old category. Don Warren of Philadelphia took second in 14.35 seconds and Joachim Acolatse took third in 15.86 seconds.

Since the video was shared, it has been viewed more than 2 million times on social media. Internet users have described Mr. Kish as an inspiration. A media outlet reported that the absolute 100 meters record for men over 70 is held by American Bobby Whilden, who ran it in 12.77 seconds at the 2005 Senior Olympics.
