He is an American actor, comedian, author, producer and singer. Eddie Murphy attended Roosevelt Junior-Senior High School, where he was a member of the drama club and also the school’s first black student president.

After graduating from high school, Eddie Murphy attended Nassau Community College, but did not graduate and dropped out to pursue a career in comedy.
