Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has established the FAEA Scholarship so that students who wish to pursue Bachelor of Arts (BA) in various disciplines including Arts, Science, Commerce and Engineering can receive the scholarship funds. This requires the student to have passed the 12th grade examination.

Students from Dalits and Adivasis will be given special consideration.

Category of Students who will get FAEA Scholarship

The student must fit the category of students determined by the selection committee. The student must be a member of the economically and socially disadvantaged community as well as the BPL community. The student must have completed their 12th grade and must be applying for a Bachelor’s degree program. For their selection, a procedure will be conducted.

FAEA Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions to be eligible for the FAEA Scholarship:

• Successful completion of Class 12 in an Indian recognized school board.
• Enrollment as a first-year undergraduate student in any university, institution or college in India in the fields of arts, business, science, medicine, engineering or other technical fields and professionals.

• Students selected for the FAEA will be offered interviews at major locations across India following a rigorous assessment procedure. Subsequently, a national commission will be responsible for making the final decision and the results will be announced accordingly.
• Furthermore, it is essential to note that the provision of support is dependent on the student’s approval by the host university, institution or college.

Here are the benefits of the Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access Scholarship (FAEA Scholarship):

1. Students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds will receive financial assistance.
2. General category students with a cumulative grade point average of 90% or above will be eligible for financial assistance through the Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access Scholarship.
