Gangsta Boo began her career in the 90s when she teamed up with Paul, Juicy J and other founding members of the rap group (Three 6 Mafia), which included Lord Infamous, Crunchy Black, Koopsta Knicca and others.

She was the second female member of the Memphis-based hip hop group Three 6 Mafia and made her first rap appearance with the group on their second studio album, Chapter 1: The End, released in 1996.
