Grayson Allen Wife: Meet Morgan Reid – Born October 8, 1995, Grayson James Allen is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA.
He played four years of college basketball for Duke University before being selected by the Utah Jazz with the 21st overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Allen played for the Jazz for one season before being traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in July 2019 and to the Bucks in August 2021.
Although Allen was part of the Duke team that won the national championship in 2015, his reputation was tarnished by his controversial on-field behavior, which included numerous dirty plays. Still, he is considered one of the best players produced by Duke in the 2010s.
After joining the Bucks, Grayson Allen signed a two-year rookie extension worth $20 million on October 18, 2021. He made his debut with the team the next day and contributed 10 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds during a victory against the Brooklyn Nets.
On January 21, 2022, Allen was ejected from a game against the Chicago Bulls after committing a flagrant double fault on Alex Caruso, resulting in a broken wrist. Bulls coach Billy Donovan criticized Allen for dangerous plays and expressed concerns that he could have ended Caruso’s career. Following this incident, the NBA suspended Allen for one game.
Despite this setback, Grayson Allen had an impressive performance in the April 2022 playoffs, scoring a career-high 22 points in Game 3 of the first round against the Chicago Bulls and then scoring 27 points in Game 4.
On January 4, 2023, Grayson Allen scored 16 points, including a game-winning three-pointer, in the Bucks’ overtime victory against the Toronto Raptors.
