Wife of Hannah Gadsby, Australian comedian and actress, Hannah Gadsby was born on January 12, 1978, in Burnie, Tasmania, Australia.

From 1990 to 1995, Gadsby attended Smithton High School. Gadsby, who was in year 12 at Launceston College, suffered a nervous breakdown there.

They first enrolled at the University of Tasmania in Hobart, then transferred to the Australian National University, where they completed a bachelor’s degree in art history and conservation in 2003.
