Here’s how to craft a Soul Torch in Minecraft and how to use it in the game.
Minecraft Soul Torch


The Soul Torch is a variation of the normal torch, but has a significantly different flame and another additional effect.

The torch is a source of light and one of the easiest items to craft early in the game. Soul Torches are the turquoise variant of the torch that can be crafted once players have acquired Soul Sand.
The Soul Torch does not appear naturally and players must craft it to obtain it. Players can attach it to the side or top of any block to light up areas.
Soul torches in Minecraft emit a light intensity of 10, which is slightly lower than normal torches. However, they repel Piglins in a radius around them, just like Soul Lanterns.
How to create a soul torch in Minecraft?
Players must collect the following items to craft a Soul Torch:
- Stick x1
- Coal/Charcoal x1
- Soul Sand x1
Soul Sand can be found in the Underworld and Coal underground in the Overworld.
