They can be rare and very difficult to find, as not all fortresses and remnants have lower warts. Players can break it with their hand or any tool.
Nether Warts can also be found in chests in Nether Fortresses.
Used for bottom warts


- Nether Warts are one of the most useful blocks in potion making and are used in brewing the base potion, the Wicked Potion. It is the basis of all potions in the game and obtaining it is essential.
- It can also be crafted from Nether Wart Blocks and Red Nether Stones, which are considered cosmetic materials.
- Players can also obtain emeralds by trading 22 Nether Warts to a master-level cleric villager. However, this is not advised because Emerald serves no purpose in the game.
- You can also plant it Soul Sand to manage it effectively and achieve more in the long term. It goes through 4 stages of growth and can be harvested at the fourth stage.
- Minecraft Void Warts can be used in a composter to increase the compost content by one.
