Mob heads in Minecraft are mainly decorative blocks that can be difficult to find for new players. Mob heads are identical heads of certain mobs that players can collect. Players can now obtain a total of 6 types of Mob Heads in the game:
- Player
- Zombie
- Skeleton
- Withered Skeleton
- Creeper
- Dragons

Mob Heads in Minecraft
Mob Heads are the corresponding heads of a mob that can be worn as a helmet or simply used as a decorative item.

Mob heads can be easily broken by hand or any other tool or by hand. Of the 6 mob heads mentioned above in Minecraft, only two can be obtained directly using simple methods. These are the Ender Dragon and the Skeleton Head.
They can be used as decoration, as helmet covers, or to summon a specific mini-boss! Alternatively, they are also used to create banner patterns and fireworks.
1) Withered Skeleton
Withered Skeletons have a 2.5% chance to drop a Wither Skeleton Skull when killed by the player. This chance can be increased by the Plunder enchantment.
These are used to summon the Wither boss in Minecraft.
2) Dragon Head
This can only be achieved if players defeat the Ender Dragon, travel to the final dimension, and find a final city with a final ship docked off to the side.
This happens very rarely and players can find the dragon head on the bow of the ship. Players can only find one in the entire game, making it one of the rarest collectibles in the game.
3) The rest of the crowd heads
The other 4 heads cannot be obtained by killing the corresponding mobs. Players need to make sure a charged Creeper explodes near the head of the mob to get the guaranteed head.
