Why is Teferi banned?
The decision to ban these cards came from concerns that combo-based decks had become too powerful in Pioneer. With Magic: The Gathering Online’s player base declining, Wizards of the Coast wanted to reduce the chance of losing players early in a game.
Is Lurrus banned in Standard?

Can Lurrus play lands?
Lurrus does not allow you to play lands from your graveyard. Your companion begins the game outside of the game. Before shuffling your deck into your library, you may reveal a card from outside the game as a companion if your starting deck meets the companion ability requirements.
How does Lurrus of the Dream Den work?
The CMC of a card or permanent is calculated by adding 1 for each mana (colored, colorless, generic or snow), Phyrexian mana and two-color hybrid mana; 2 for each monochromatic hybrid mana; and every 0 in the item’s mana cost. An item with no mana cost has a CMC of 0.
Why is Emrakul The Aeons Torn banned?
Commander Block List cards are blocked for two important reasons. That’s why I think Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is on the banned list because at some point the RC realized that it wasn’t fun to play, was too ubiquitous in decks, and didn’t contribute to a fun casual commander format.
