Minecraft Update 1.18, which is Part II of the Caves and Cliffs Update, was just released on November 30, 2021. However, many players have asked if the Guardian is included in Minecraft Update 1.18.
Minecraft Caves and Cliffs are one of the biggest updates the game has received in a long time. This will drastically change the caves and mountains in the game and add many new additional features. The update was released in two parts and currently both parts have been released worldwide.
The Deep Dark was one of the concepts that got players most excited about Cave’s reworks. This is expected to be the new deepest biome in the game and introduce the Warden mob in Minecraft. However, the mob and biome are not part of the new update and here is why.

Warden in Minecraft 1.18: When does he come into play?
To the dismay of many players, we now know that the Guardian will not be included in the Minecraft 1.18 update.
The Guardian is a new enemy mob introduced to the game with the Deep Dark biome. The Deep Dark will be the deepest point in the game below level Y 0 and will feature darker caves with new features.
This was supposed to be released with the Minecraft 1.18 update but was postponed. The reason for this was revealed during Minecraft Live 2021, which took place in October.
Developers Mojang announced that they will be adding a new naturally generated structure called “Ancient Cities Inside the Dark Depths”, as well as many more sculk blocks that capture vibrations. Guards also appear here and can hear and smell the player.
Due to the inclusion of the most recent additions, the entire biome and Guardian in Minecraft have been carried over to the next update of The Wild. This update is expected to be released next year, but the exact timetable has not been specified.
