Television presenter, author and politician Jeanine Pirro was born on June 2, 1951, in Elmira, New York, United States of America.
She was born to Nasser Ferris, an RV salesman, and Esther Ferris, a department store model. They were both Lebanese-American citizens.
Jeanine Pirro became interested in law and became a lawyer at the age of six. She spent her senior year of high school as an intern in the Chemung County Prosecutor’s Office before graduating from Notre Dame High School in Elmira in three years.
Pirro earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University at Buffalo. She received her law degree from Union University Albany Law School in 1975 and served as editor of the Law Review.
Pirro co-hosted Justice with Judge Jeanine on Fox News Channel until she co-hosted The Five in 2022. She frequently wrote for NBC News and appeared frequently on the Today Show.
She was also the first female judge elected in Westchester County, New York. Pirro was elected Westchester County’s first female district attorney. As district attorney, Pirro gained notoriety in elder abuse and domestic violence cases.
