Jessie Ware, English husband, singer and songwriter, Jessie Ware was born on October 15, 1984 at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital in Hammersmith, London, United Kingdom.

Florence Welch, Jack Peate and Felix White of The Maccabees were Ware’s classmates at Alleyn School in Dulwich, south London, where she was educated.

She then enrolled at the University of Sussex, where she earned a degree in English literature.

After training, Ware briefly reported for The Jewish Chronicle, covered sport for The Daily Mirror and worked behind the scenes at television production company Love Productions. There, she worked with Erika Leonard, aka EL James, the author of “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
