He became an internet sensation with his daring behind-the-wheel stunts. Ken Block was part of the Hoonigan Racing Division, formerly known as the Monster World Rally Team.
He shifted his business to Hoonigan Industries, a clothing brand for car enthusiasts, after selling his shares to DC Shoes, one of the co-founders. Ken Block was co-owner and “Head Hoonigan In Charge” (HHIC).

Ken Block began his rally career in 2005 and was named Rally America Rookie of the Year. He competed in the World Rally Championship and won several X Games rallycross medals.
He has also competed in numerous action sports events, including skateboarding, snowboarding, and motocross. Ken Block died on Monday, January 2, 2022, at the age of 55, following a snowmobile accident.
The accident occurred in Wasatch County, Utah. The local sheriff’s office said Ken Block was driving in the Mill Hollow area when his snowmobile went up a steep hill and landed on top of him. He was confirmed dead at the scene of the accident.
His team Hoonigan Racing announced his death, stating: “It is with our deepest regret that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away today in a snowmobile accident.” Hoonigan said in a statement posted to Instagram on Monday.
“Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And above all, a father and a husband. We will miss him incredibly.
