On April 10, 2021, at UFC on ABC 2, Holland faced Marvin Vettori, who was replacing the injured Darren Till. Holland set the record for shortest turnaround time between two main events with his second main event in three weeks.
Despite a few punches that injured Vettori, Holland was dominated on the ground for most of the fight and lost by unanimous decision. Holland then signed a new multi-fight contract with the UFC, with one fight remaining from his previous contract.
