Lowry grew up in North Philadelphia, where he attended Cardinal Dougherty High School. In high school, he was a star basketball player and received several awards and honors, including the Philadelphia Catholic League MVP award his senior year. After graduating from high school, Lowry decided to attend Villanova University, where he continued his basketball career.
Lowry played for Villanova from 2004 to 2006 and led the team to the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament during his sophomore year. After his sophomore year, Lowry decided to enter the NBA draft, where he was selected 24th overall by the Memphis Grizzlies.

Kameron Lowry was born in 2015. Kyle and Ayahna kept Kameron’s birth relatively private and it wasn’t until a few months later that they shared photos of their new baby on social media.
