Verse 1]
I don’t feel anything
Did the pills do too much?
I haven’t met my friends in weeks
And now we’re no longer in touch
I drove to Los Angeles
And the world seems too big
Like a floating ball that’s bound to break
Break my psyche like a twig

And I just want to see it
If you’re like me

Do you ever get a little tired of life?
Like you’re not really happy but you don’t want to die
Like you’re hanging by a thread but you have to survive
Because you have to survive
Like your body is in space, but you’re not really there
It’s like you have compassion in you, but you really don’t care
Like you just got out of love, but it’s in the air
Am I overwhelmed?

I’m a little tired of dealing with this when I don’t care
A little tired of quick repairs to deal with it
A little tired of the shipwreck
There is water in my boat
I barely breathe
Try to stay afloat
So I made these quick repairs to deal with it
I guess I’m just broken and broken

The recipes are on the way
With a name I can’t pronounce
And the dose I should take
Boy, I wish I could count

Because I just want to see it
If it could make me happy

Do you ever get a little tired of life?
Like you’re not really happy but you don’t want to die
Like a little deaf insect that must survive
This must survive
