Michael Berrin, better known as MC Serch, is an American rapper, music director and producer. In the past he was also a member of Non-Phixion and 3rd Bass. Serch has built an empire and made a name for himself in the music industry, but heHe owes everything to his wife, Chantel Berrin.

MC Serch and Chantel Berrin have been a couple since 1988. After four years of dating, they got married in 1992. The couple’s love was so strong that Berrin converted to Judaism to marry the rapper. Berrin revealed in a 1993 interview that she converted to another religion because she wanted to, not because she was forced to.
According to his website, Serch grew up in an Orthodox Jewish neighborhood in Queens, New York. So it’s no surprise that her family is religiously conservative.

Berrin’s decision to convert was based on the fact that the couple could not have a religious marriage because he was Jewish and she was not. She married her anyway.
“It’s actually quite funny. As modern as my family is – active in hip-hop and in an interracial marriage – we are very traditional when it comes to Judaism.”
Marriage is sacred and “important” in Judaism, so Berrin converted to a religious marriage and respecting her husband’s religion.
Despite 33 years of living together, the couple is still in love. Serch often uploads photos of the two of them, expressing his love for his wife. On his wife’s birthday on December 28, 2013, he said in an Instagram post that he owes her everything.
The rapper then admitted in a heartfelt caption that he would be a much less human being. Berrin was not there to support the rapper. He also explained that his wife gave him a compass and unconditional love even though he didn’t deserve it. He praised her for taking care of them and supporting their three children while he was neglectful and absent.
Additionally, he called her a “superstar” and a “biggest star” than he could ever be. He wished his wife nothing but the best and hoped to “love and honor” her for the rest of his life.
He ended the caption with a heartfelt note, thanking her for defending him, forgiving him, and staying by his side. So it’s safe to say that the couple will be together and close for years to come.

Chantel Berrin and the rapper have three children. However, there is little information about them as the couple does not reveal much about their personal lives.
According to Berrin’s private Instagram profile photo, the couple has two daughters and a son. Mia, one of his daughters, is following in her father’s footsteps and working in the music industry.
She is the lead singer of the New York rock band Pom Pom Squad.
