Meet Udonis Haslem. 3 sons: Kedonis, Elijah and Josiah: Udonis Haslem, officially known as Udonis Johneal Haslem, is an American professional basketball player, born June 9, 1980.

He developed a passion for basketball at a young age and gradually became one of the most sought-after basketball players during his career.

Since April 2023, Udonis Haslem has been a professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

He played college basketball for the Florida Gators, where he was a key member of four NCAA Tournament teams.

Haslem began his professional career in France at Chalon-sur-Saône and signed with his hometown Miami Heat in 2003. This makes him the longest-tenured Heat player in franchise history.

After joining the team in 2003, Haslem re-signed with the Heat in August 2005 and in June 2006, he helped the Heat win their first NBA championship with a 4–2 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in the finals of the NBA.

In July 2010, he signed a five-year contract worth around $20 million to stay with the Heat. The contract paid him about $14 million less than he could have received had he accepted more lucrative offers from the Dallas Mavericks or Denver Nuggets.

Haslem re-signed with the Heat in July 2014 on a two-year contract. He re-signed one-year contracts with the Heat in 2016, 2017 and 2018. In January 2019, he declared that the 2018–19 season would be his last.

However, in April 2019, Haslem stated that he had not yet decided whether to retire and that the decision would not be made until the 2019–20 season.

In August 2019, Haslem re-signed with the Heat on a one-year deal. He played in four games during the 2019-20 season.

That season, he became the 30th player in league history to play past age 40, and the first undrafted player in the modern era to play until that age.

In November 2020, Haslem re-signed with the Heat. He played in just one game during the 2020–21 season, on May 13, 2021, against the Philadelphia 76ers.

In August 2021, Haslem resigned with the Heat and in August 2022, he extended his contract by one year and announced that the 2022–23 season, his 20th in the NBA, would be his last.

In his final regular season game on April 9, 2023, Haslem scored 24 points in 25 minutes in a 123–110 victory against the Orlando Magic.

He became the first 42-year-old player in NBA history to score 24 or more points in a game, and it was his highest score since 2009. He also won three NBA championships while playing for the Heat .
