The September Minecraft Championship is over and the winners have been announced. The Orange Ocelots are the undisputed winners of Minecraft Championship 17 (MCC 17), after a brutal battle with the Pink Parrots!
This edition of the Minecraft Championship was scheduled a little earlier in September and MCC 17 concluded its battles on September 19, 2021. The event had 40 streamers participating with 1 team of 4 players each. The tournament lasted over two hours and the eight mini-games ultimately yielded a clear winner.
Who won the Minecraft 17 championship?
The overall MCC 17 championship was won by Orange Ocelotls with a total of over 23,413 coins. The Orange Ocelotls team consisted of the following players:

- Grian
- PeteZahHutt

The final pitted the Orange Ocelotls team against the Pink Parrots team in the Dodgebolt game. The Pink Parrots were close behind with 20232 coins in their account, but the final Dodgebolt game gave the Orange Ocelotls the trophy!
Although Pink Parrots is the fan favorite according to the Twitter poll, Orange Ocelotls managed to take home the victory!
New events and MCC 18
A new event called “MCC Rising” is launched, giving players who have never competed in an MC Championship a chance! You have a chance to win it all and face the MC Championship teams in an upcoming event! This event is scheduled to take place on Sunday October 2 at 8pm BST.
MCC 18 is expected to take place in late October 2021, but official dates have not yet been announced. Players can keep an eye on it Official MC Championship Twitter for further updates.
