Minecraft features a huge sandbox world with a variety of dimensions and biomes for players to explore, and sometimes players may encounter mysterious structures. Here is one such structure called Minecraft Desert Well that players might encounter while exploring.
Naturally generated structures add an extra sense of mystery and exploration to an otherwise barren and biome-filled environment. Different biomes from the overworld and the Nether can have different natural structures. They can even vary in size and loot produced.

Minecraft Desert Wells
Minecraft Desert Wells are small structures found in deserts that are mysterious, standalone structures with no additional structures around them.

The Desert biome in Minecraft can only spawn in the overworld dimension and is characterized by its barren land and sandy, dune-like landscape. Most desert biomes are flat and contain sparse vegetation such as dried plants and cacti.
In addition to desert fountains, there are a few other structures in the game such as temples and desert villages.
Location and Generation
As mentioned above, desert fountains only spawn in the Desert Biomes and only have a 0.001 chance of spawning in a desert block. As such, they are a rare structure that can be quite difficult to find.
Desert fountains are more likely to arise in plains than in rolling landscapes.

The Desert Fountain consists of a unique structure consisting of a small sandstone fountain. This is made entirely of sandstone blocks and all contain water within a single block width and a few blocks depth.
There is also an arch-shaped structure above the base of the fountain. The exact reasons for this structure are not yet known, but there is currently no good loot or benefits for players.
However, players have been asking for a change to these structures for a long time and it is of no use or benefit.
