Morgan Wallen is one of America’s top country singers and songwriters.
He competed on the sixth season of The Voice and was first a member of Usher’s team, but later a member of Adam Levine’s team.
He was born May 13, 1993, in Sneedville, Tennessee, to Tommy and Lesli Wallen. Wallen learned piano and violin as a child. He had planned to play baseball in college, but after injuring his elbow, he decided to pursue music.
Wallen donated $300,000 to the Black Music Action Coalition in honor of the 20 people who advised him after the 2021 incident.
These individuals had the option of directing their $15,000 donations to a charity of their choice or keeping the funds in the BMAC.
Wallen’s songs returned to country radio in August 2021 with the release of his single “Sand in My Boots.”

Controversies over Morgan Wallen
Wallen was arrested in May 2020 for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct outside Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville. He apologized on social media for his allegations.
Wallen faced backlash on social media during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic after TikTok videos showed him partying at a bar in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, after the football game Alabama vs. Texas A&M.
The game took place on October 3, 2020, a week before his scheduled debut on Saturday Night Live on October 10, 2020. Wallen was shown in the videos not wearing a mask, breaking social distancing rules, singing during a house party and kissing women. .
On October 7, he announced that his appearance on Saturday Night Live had been canceled due to a violation of the show’s COVID-19 protocols.
TMZ posted a video on January 31, 2021, showing Wallen using the word “nigger” with friends as they entered his Nashville home on February 2, 2021. He apologized in a statement for using the racial slur .
Due to the incident, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, iHeartRadio, Entercom, Cumulus and Townsquare temporarily removed Wallen’s music from their playlists.
Wallen’s songs and promotional photos were also removed from featured playlists on Apple Music, Pandora and Spotify, although Spotify reinstated Wallen’s music to its playlists a week later.

Morgan Wallen has three siblings. Two of them are his biological siblings and the other is an adopted brother.
She was adopted by Morgan’s parents, Leslie and Tommy, in July 2021 and the child is named Lacey. The other two Morgan sisters are Ashlyne Wallen and Mikaela Wallen.
Both of them lead a public life as they have an overwhelming number of followers on the popular social media platform Instagram.
Ashlyne has 72.5k followers on Instagram while Mikaela has 22.7k followers on Instagram.
