Dwayne Johnson and Shaquille O’Neal share an incredible friendship. The two never failed to send fans into a frenzy as they tried to rile up each other just to prove who is the best in the business. If fans had a choice, it would be difficult to choose between The Great One and The Big Shamrock. One such incident occurred in April 2012, when the two men clashed on Twitter.

The NBA Hall of Famer is best known for his imposing stature and anyone would think twice before making fun of him. But the People’s Champion took it as a challenge with his mountain-sized body and mocked Shaq’s lips without fear.

Flashback to 2012, when Shaq and The Rock had a falling out
In 2012, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made headlines when he had just returned to WWE to challenge “The Champ” John Cena. WWE billed WrestleMania 28 as a “once in a lifetime” match. WWE saw its fan base split down the middle to support either “People’s Champ” The Rock or “The Champ” John Cena. To add to the hype, Shaquille O’Neil sided with John Cena at the event. Many at the time thought it was Shaq’s decision to pull Dwayne’s leg.
Shaq tweeted: “Oh come on? Come on, #cenation, give me your back. Let’s go, John Cena is going to break the stone.
The Hollywood actor probably had to react because he was the funniest and took revenge on Shaquille O’Neal in the craziest and hilarious way.

The Rock replied: “@SHAQ How are your lips Shaq? Because the next time I see you, I’m going to punch you in the face. #TeamBringIt #ByeByeLips.” Ten years later, this tweet from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson still tickles the bone and ages like a fine wine.

The Big One and the Big Clover have always had a friendly argument. This is because Johnson and Shaq have a close bond that allows them to insult each other without offending the other.
Two years later, The Rock attacked Shaquille O’Neal during his visit to Shaq’s “Inside the NBA” studio. The Rock knows how to play his cards well because beating someone at home is quite embarrassing. And that’s what Dwayne Johnson did with “The Big Shamrock” in 2014.
You must be supernaturally brilliant to outsmart WWE legend The Rock. Shaq did his best by siding with 16-time world champion John Cena, but the big one humiliated and silenced him in comedic fashion.
