Daniel Craig is a British-American actor best known for playing the spy James Bond in five films in the James Bond film series, ranging from Casino Royale to No Time to Die.

Daniel Craig is the son of Carol Olivia, an art teacher, and Timothy John Wroughton Craig, who served in the merchant navy.

Daniel Craig was born on March 2, 1968 in Chester, Cheshire. He is the son of art teacher Carol Olivia and Timothy John Wroughton Craig, a midshipman and metalworker. His father later owned pubs in Cheshire: the Ring o’ Bells in Frodsham and the Boot Inn in Tarporley.
