Anthony and Gabriel Boulos founded the company. The company is home to several well-known brands, including Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Haojue. It is the only importer and dealer of Suzuki in Nigeria.
The family started out in Lagos in a store that sold jewelry and other sundries to the upper middle class. Her father, George, a Lebanese goldsmith who emigrated to Nigeria in 1936, ran the jewelry business.
George built positive relationships with his customers, which benefited the growing business.
George’s sons, Anthony and Gabriel, expanded the family business in the mid-1950s by importing Miele, Dürkopp and Göricke motorcycles.

The company acquired land in Ogba Industrial Area and began producing complete Suzuki motorcycles. Additionally, the company developed a commercial strategy that led to the creation of service centers across the country.
These centers were stocked with spare parts and had a qualified Suzuki mechanic at each site.
In 1985, the family expanded its interests in Nigeria by establishing Bel Impex Limited, a leading tissue paper manufacturer. Between 2010 and 2016, the family worked as representatives for Piaggio India, where they sometimes assembled tricycles.
