In Western television shows such as The Rifleman, Have Gun-Will Travel, Highway Patrol (1956), Zorro, Johnny Ringo, The Rebel, Zane Gray Theater, Black Saddle, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Untouchables, Trackdown, Rawhide, The A Virginian, The In Richards appeared as a guest star in “Loner” and “The Guns of Will Sonnett.”

Richards has appeared on Gunsmoke four times. In the 1955 series premiere “Matt Gets It”, he plays a nearsighted gunman who outruns and almost kills Matt Dillon.
