Parents of R’Bonney Gabriel: meet Remigio and Dana – R’Bonney Nola Gabriel holds the title of Miss USA 2022 and Miss Universe 2022 from the United States. She is the ninth and longest reigning United States of America champion.
She was born in Houston and earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion design with a minor in fiber from the University of North Texas. Today, she is a model and designer of eco-responsible clothing.
Her first beauty pageant appearance was at Miss Kemah USA 2020, where she placed in the top five.
She competed as Miss Harris County in the 2021 Miss Texas USA pageant and came in second behind Victoria Hinojosa of McAllen.
She was crowned Miss Texas USA 2022 and later represented Texas at Miss USA 2022, where she was crowned Miss USA 2022, making her the first Miss USA of Filipino descent.
She represented the United States in the Miss Universe 2022 pageant as Miss USA 2022. She was crowned Miss Universe 2022, becoming the ninth American to do so.
Her victory also made her the first American representative to win Miss Universe since Olivia Culpo at the 2012 Miss Universe pageant.

She was born in Texas to a Filipino father, Remigio Bonzon “R. Bon” Gabriel and an American mother Dana Walker. She is the eldest of three siblings. Her father was born in the Philippines and raised in the capital, Manila.
He moved to Washington state at age 25 and later earned a doctorate in psychology from the University of Southern California. His mother was born in Beaumont, Texas.
Reportedly, her father and mother were very supportive of her sensational and enchanting modeling career.
