Nathan Fielder, a comedian, developed the docu-reality series Nathan For You, in which he based the eponymous character on his teenage identity. Fielder admitted to exaggerating aspects of himself for comedic reasons. However, he also stated that the character is still essentially himself, but with more emphasis on the fears and flaws of his younger self. And while Fielder doesn’t shy away from expressing certain aspects of himself through his characters, the comedian has rarely spoken publicly about his personal life.
Nathan Fielder and his ex-wife
Aside from his professional career, nothing is known about Fielder as he has rarely spoken about his personal life. The actor was previously married to Sarah Ziolkowska. He and his ex-wife had known each other since they were children in Canada, long before he became famous. She worked as a children’s librarian. It is unclear when he and his ex-wife married, but they divorced in 2014. The two reportedly divorced on April 16, 2015, at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles, California.

Fielder first announced his divorce from his ex-wife to AV Club in 2015. He said there that he liked others to see his work and exhibitions, but not himself, and that he didn’t know how to talk about his divorce because it was “shocking.” Fielder called their split “amicable” but said it was still a difficult emotional experience.
The reason for Fielder’s divorce from his ex-wife has not been revealed.

On-screen romance for Nathan Fielder
Fielder hasn’t revealed anything about his personal life since announcing his divorce with AV Club. Since then, we have only seen him in one romantic relationship, and that was with a woman named Maci in the conclusion of Nathan For You. In the two-hour special, Fielder goes on a journey to help a Bill Gates con man named Bill Heath find his lost childhood friend, Frances.

Fielder meets a lady named Maci, a paid escort. The two go on several dates in the following order. Fielder provides narration at various points, describing the course of their relationship and his perspective on it. In one instance, he mentions how difficult it is to distinguish between the show and real life.
“The more we filmed, the harder it became to tell where the show ended and life began.”
Viewers were not given any information about Fielder and Maci’s predicament after the show ended.
