Robert Whittaker commented on Israel Adesanya’s comments ahead of their UFC 271 fight.
Israel developed gynecomastia due to excessive marijuana use. His right pectoral muscle appears swollen, which draws attention from the MMA community. There is no conclusive evidence as to the cause of gynecomastia. However, it can be caused by the use of drugs, alcohol or taking steroids.
Needless to say, Adesanya’s condition has caused quite a stir in the MMA world. Therefore, to dispel doubts, Israel declared:
“My pituitary gland has been checked, hormone levels are good, estrogen and testosterone. Yesterday we had an ultrasound and a mammogram. It was the first time I had one. To be honest, maybe it was just a little unhealthy to experience. It’s like smoking weed, that’s what the UFC doctor said. He said I need to quit, but I won’t quit, I’ll just smoke weed slower.» for the MMA class.
According to him, the reason for his condition is an unhealthy lifestyle. He denied the allegations of steroid use, stating: “Hell no, hell no!” I’m not one of those people who needs a crutch… Skills pay the bills.
Robert Whittaker comments on Israel Adesanya’s gynecomastia

Robert Whittaker recently spoke with Brown Campbell from Morning Combat. Where Campbell hilariously asked a question about Adesanya’s right nipple (gynecomastia).
Whittaker laughed at the question and replied with a laugh: “To be honest, I don’t think about it too much.”
When Brown asked again Whittaker To explain the situation, he replied again: “I don’t know“. Well, for sure Whittaker doesn’t want to make fun of Adesanya or blame Adesanya for his condition. He wants to focus more on his fight at UFC 271.
After their first fight, Robert was no longer himself and was on the verge of leaving the UFC. He also blames his ego and overconfidence for his loss. Adesanya. That’s why he tries to avoid all these distractions before their fight for a different outcome this time. On the other hand, Adesanya believes that it would be quite foolish of Whittaker to think that he had an idea of Adesanya’s weaknesses (which led to his loss to Jan).
