I came out as a transgender person.
Ruby came out as transgender in 2020. Ruby and her mother Jamie Lee spoke to People about her journey to coming out as transgender, and Ruby opened up about what it felt like to come out for the first time. It was scary for Ruby because she was about to reveal something about herself that they didn’t know. It was discouraging, but she did not worry because she had nothing to fear because she had the support of her parents, who had been so tolerant of her, she said in an interview.
Jamie Lee said she was new to speaking a new language, new vocabulary and new terms. She’s not someone who pretends to know a lot about things and she will slip up and make mistakes. She added that she wanted to avoid making any major mistakes. Ruby was around 16 when a transsexual friend asked her what gender she was. She told them she was a man, but knew she was different because of her unpleasant treatment experience and was afraid to come out.

On May 29, 2022, Ruby married his fiancée Kynthia. His mother, Jamie Lee, celebrated her wedding in the family garden, decorated in the style of World of Warcraft.
