Do I have to open all the fairy wells?
To get the 4th upgrade, you need to unlock them all. This is definitely not essential to beat the game as the armor in this game is pretty solid. The bonus is unlocked at only 2 upgrades (i.e. 2 stars), other upgrades only improve your armor and reduce the damage you take.
Is there a difference between the large fairy fountains?
The first well costs a paltry 100 rupees, the second largest 500 rupees, the third open well costs 1,000 rupees and the fourth 10,000 rupees. Once unlocked, the Great Fairies will provide armor upgrade services at the wells.
How to kill Fire Chuchu?
If Link defeats the enemy while it is still on fire, it will explode once defeated. As such, it is best to attack a Fire Chuchu from afar with arrows or spears. These enemies are vulnerable to ice-based attacks, and a single attack with an ice weapon or arrow will instantly defeat a Fire Chuchu.
Where is the best place to get glowstones?
By far, the densest glowstone deposits are along the eastern side of the Dracozu River Valley. Head to Faron Tower and paraglide north. Along the cliffs and outcrops of the eastern wall, a long line of deposits awaits you to claim them.
Should I sell diamonds to Zelda?
Sell them for a few rupees or save them for future clothing upgrades. I think level 4 upgrades use the gems. You can always get more from Late Game if you need the money now, especially since after clearing Zora’s estate there is a guy who trades 10 Lightstones for 1 Diamond (the first trade you gives 2, then 1 each time after that).
Is there any reason to keep diamonds down?
You will need to reacquire certain items if you lose them, as well as upgrades for certain pieces of armor. You CAN actually buy them once you reach Zora’s Domain for 10 Lightstones, of which there are plenty in the game. Otherwise, keep a good amount of materials on hand.
Need diamonds for anything Botw?
Diamonds are rare materials in Breath of the Wild. Due to their rarity, Hyrule diamonds have long sold at a high price. Isha needs diamonds to make diamond circles at Starlight Memories in Gerudo Town. Diamonds are also needed to upgrade Diamond Bracelets in Great Faerie Wells.
