Suella Braverman Husband: This is Rael Braverman: Suella Braverman, full name; Sue-Ellen Cassiana Braverman was born on April 3, 1980 in Harrow, United Kingdom.

She attended Uxendon Manor Primary School in Brent and Heathfield School in Pinner, then studied law at Queens’ College, Cambridge.

Now a British politician, she has held numerous positions as a member of the Conservative Party, including MP for Fareham in 2015.

From 2017 to 2018, Braverman served as President of the European Research Group and was appointed Parliamentary Secretary of State in the January 2018 cabinet reshuffle due to its withdrawal from the European Union.

In November of the same year (2018), Braverman resigned in protest against May’s proposed Brexit withdrawal agreement.

During the cabinet reshuffle of February 2020; Braverman was automatically appointed Queen’s Counsel upon his appointment.

From 2020 to 2022, she was appointed Attorney General of England and Wales and Attorney General of Northern Ireland by then Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Following Johnson’s resignation, Braverman contested the July–September (2022) Conservative Party leadership election, but dropped out of the vote after the second round of voting.

She later supported Truss’ bid to become leader of the Conservatives, and when Truss became Prime Minister, Braverman was appointed Home Secretary on 6 September 2022.

After being criticized for violating the Ministerial Code by sending a sensitive official document to a political ally using her personal email address, Braverman resigned as Minister of the Interior on 19 October 2022.

Six days later, on Tuesday 25 October 2022, Braverman was reinstated as Home Secretary by Truss’s successor, Rishi Sunak.

In May 2023, Suella Braverman made headlines when Prime Minister Rishi Sunak “decided” to consult an independent ethics adviser over her speeding ticket.

Braverman was arrested for speeding last summer, and before paying a fine and accepting points on her license, she reportedly asked authorities to arrange a private, one-on-one speed awareness course for her.

Rishi Sunak is under increasing pressure to order an investigation into their behavior and the issue is high on his agenda as he returns from the G7 summit in Japan this morning (Monday 22 May 2023).

Suella Braverman is married to Rael Braverman, director of the Mercedes-Benz group.

It is not known exactly when they met, but they married in the House of Commons in February 2018. Suella describes her husband as a “very proud member of the Jewish community”.
