She even surprised her bariatric surgeon, Dr. Eric Smith, with another victory in her weight loss journey when she visited him on his birthday. Slaton arrived at her office and claimed in an Instagram video that she had finally gotten rid of her oxygen tube and was walking independently.

After losing a massive 300 pounds, Tammy Slaton now weighs 400 pounds. Tammy achieved her weight loss goal through weight loss surgery in February 2023. Since then, she underwent all the necessary tests and procedures and in March 2023, doctors finally gave final approval for the Tammy’s weight loss surgery.
Everyone, including Tammy, was thrilled for her when Dr. Smith informed her family that she was finally ready to have surgery. She expressed her joy, saying, “After four years of struggle, my hard work has finally paid off. »
