Tulip Victoria Khaury, born May 10, 1971, is a 51-year-old American media personality, best known as the only child and daughter of American singer, ukulele player and music archivist Tiny Tim.
Tulip Victoria Khaury’s father, Tiny Tim, is best known for his falsetto covers “Tiptoe Through the Tulips” and “Livin’ in the Sunlight, Lovin’ in the Moonlight”.
On November 30, 1996, he performed at a Minneapolis Women’s Club benefit gala. While performing the last song of the evening, he suffered another heart attack on stage in the middle of performing his hit “Tiptoe Through the Tulips.” He was helped back to the table, where he collapsed and never regained consciousness. Paramedics performed CPR at the scene and transported him to Hennepin County Medical Center. After several resuscitation attempts, he was pronounced dead.

Tiny Tim showed musical interest and talent from a young age, so when he was five his father gave him an old wind-up gramophone and a 78 rpm record of “Beautiful Ohio” at Henry’s Bar. He would sit for hours listening to records, and at the age of six he began teaching himself to play the guitar. As a young man, he was passionate about records, especially records from the 1900s to the 1930s.
Tiny Tim spent most of his free time at the New York Public Library reading about the history of the phonograph industry and its early artists. He studied sheet music, often taking copies home to study, and continued his hobby throughout his life.
