Kobe Bryant was one of the rare talents when he was in the league. His extremely hard-working nature and sheer dominance on the field left jaws wide open. For the NBA, the Mamba was the eye candy that attracted basketball fans from around the world. However, there were other reasons why some fans loved him outside of the game.
Hollywood Star Halle Berry Gives Kobe Bryant a Sensual Look
During a game in 2005, the camera focused on actress Halle Berry, who was sitting courtside and looking up and down at the Los Angeles Lakers legend. The actress was later interviewed and said:
“I’m definitely a big Laker fan, a big Laker fan.” She said. The journalist asked Berry who her favorite players were, to which she replied:“Kobe and Caron Butler.” The video went viral and fans were excited about this new “scandal”.
Halle Berry was left speechless when she learned of the mamba’s death. He took to Twitter to share his feelings and greetings to the family of the late great legend.
Kobe Bryant’s legacy in review
Kobe Bryant was one of a kind when looking back on his life on and off the court. On the pitch, the former five-time champion arrived in the league as a promising candidate, but was never able to prove himself right away.
Eventually, he made it to the top and received several awards along the way. He was named the league’s Most Valuable Player in 2008. Eight years later, he finished his career averaging 25 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game while shooting 36.1%. on the ground.
Off the field, Bryant was a strong advocate for women’s empowerment. He founded his foundation and dedicated it to his daughter Gianna, whose mission was to support aspiring athletes and women in sports. Kobe has also contributed to the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Make a Wish Foundation and many others.
There is no doubt that the legend was loved by many people around the world. His compassion never let anyone around him down and he always wished the best for everyone around him, including his successors in the league. His death left a void at the heart of the league and his shoes may never be filled because he was of a very different breed. Rest in peace, the black mamba.
