The link is at the end of its life. this was the old package for the devices inside the box. Everything is now merged into iCUE. With iCUE, you can control all your Corsair devices from one place.
Is Corsair Link dead?
The link is dead. Everything will be moved to iCUE. If you don’t have RGB, fine, use iCUE like you would use Link.
Do you need Lighting Node Pro with Commander Pro?
Lightning Node is for connecting multiple Corsair RGB fans, but only the RGB and control via iCue, the fans themselves still need headers somewhere. Commander Pro manages both RGB speed and fan speed via PWM headers. I’m using a Koolance fan/pump controller that fits a 5.25 bay, so Lighting Node was all I needed.

Does iCUE replace BIOS fan curve?

Can you control Corsair fan speed without a Pro?
You don’t need Commander Pro. The H150i has its own fan controller and powers and controls the fan speed. This will be adjustable via software. The Lighting Node Pro and RGB lighting hub, located in your LL120 fan 3-pack, controls the lighting.

You have 2 connectors on these fans – 1 is a standard 4 pin PWM header for the fan motor itself and the other is for RGB. The RGB, as you mentioned, goes to the RGB Fan Hub. This provides electricity for lighting.

Can I use RGB fans without RGB headers?
No. You just need to connect the lighting node to a USB header on your motherboard. You then connect the RGB cable from the fans to the lighting node.

Some just need a cable, some need an RGB controller and hub and many other things. For example, Corsair’s RGB fans require the fans’ RGB cables to be connected to an RGB hub, and that RGB hub connects to a Lighting Node Pro, which connects to the motherboard via SATA power and USB.
