Alison Riske is an American professional tennis player. On November 4, 2019, she reached her highest singles ranking of her career as world number 18 and won her first WTA Tour title at the Tianjin Open in October 2014. On the ITF women’s circuit, she also won two WTA singles championships as well as nine singles and one doubles titles.
Reaching the quarterfinals of Wimbledon in 2019 (where she beat world No. 1 and reigning French Open champion Ashleigh Barty in the fourth round) is her best singles performance at a Grand Slam tournament.

Stephen Amritraj is a former professional tennis player who represented India. He is an Indian-American. He is the nephew of Vijay Amritraj and the son of Anand Amritraj. Amritraj is the son of former World Tour player Anand Amritraj and the paternal cousin of Prakash Amritraj, another former professional who also represented India. Amritraj’s highest individual score in his career is 973, which he achieved in June 2007.
Alison Riske’s relationship with Stephen Amritraj started in April 2014. The first time they were mentioned on social media was in one of Stephen’s tweets, which Alison chose as her favorite. In 2014 and 2015, they tagged each other on Instagram and shared photos together. They received their first confirmation on August 6, 2015. Reporters began referring to Stephen as her trainer, which Alison quickly corrected on Twitter by stating that he was her boyfriend. The couple announced their engagement in June 2016. Stephen’s cousin Prakash Amritraj announced the news on Instagram. They were married in Pittsburgh in July 2019.
