Marriage and love life
Gary and Kenya Kennedy first met at a comedy club in Los Angeles. According to Kenya, the program featured black comedians, including Gary Owen. He was the only white performer in the show and received a standing ovation for his efforts. Kenya returned to the club with his friends after a few days and was not impressed with his performance.
She spoke to him, informed him of her performance and gave him her phone number. Gary contacted her the same day, without wasting time or giving another man the opportunity to impress her. After many years of dating, the couple got married in 2003. Since then, the couple has been together and living happily and peacefully with their children, without rumors of divorce or extramarital affairs.
Mother’s Delta Airline Incident
Kennedy’s father claimed in March that a Delta employee racially profiled his mother, Kenya, while she was waiting for a trip from Cincinnati to San Francisco. The gate agent asked her mother if she was in first class since she was a black lady in the priority line. When she responded “yes” and asked if the officer would ask the same question of the man behind her, the officer nodded and responded “NO” because he was a white man. Following his father’s appointment as pilot, the airline released a statement.
“Delta will not accept any decimation. “We are investigating the issue with our Cincinnati team and are in contact with the customer to better understand what happened,” formalized paraphrase.

Gary Owen, Kennedy Owen’s father, joined the Navy at the age of seventeen and served for six years. When asked what attracted him to the military, Gary said he grew up in a trailer park and the recruiter came to his trailer. Gary is widely considered a “black comedian.” He hosted “Comic View” and was the only white on-air personality on the show.
