“Mad Max” or Max Scherzer is a Major League Baseball player currently playing for the New York Mets. He played for many other teams during his professional career and finally signed with the Mets in 2021. Max reached great heights with his power plays. He is an eight-time All-Star winner, three-time Cy Young Award winner and World Series winner with the Washington Nationals in 2019.

Erica is currently an ambassador for Polaris, an organization dedicated to combating and eliminating human slavery. The couple is very involved in humanitarian actions and often posts photos of themselves. Max and Erica got married in 2013. Their second daughter, Kacey Hart Scherzer, was born on April 7, 2019, as the couple celebrated the birth of their newest member. Their son was born on May 2, 2021 and was named Derek Alexander Scherzer. Eric gave birth to their son less than two hours after Max finished his five-hitter against the Miami Marlins.
