Rajon Rondo and Ashley Bachelor, college sweethearts, engaged couples, and parents of two, seem to have lost the spark in their love lives as things have taken a major downturn. Ashley filed for an emergency order against the former NBA champion after a frightening family drama.
Rajon Rondo is a “visionary” passer whose style of play has helped his team gain an advantage over their opponents. But he is also known for his erratic and explosive behavior on the field. According to recent incidents and statements from his ex-partner Ashley Bachelor, he is also abusive in his private life. Last week, she filed for an emergency protection order in Louisville. In the order, she seeks protection for herself, her son, her daughter and herself because Rajon Rondo threatened her with a gun.

Rondo and Ashley were together for over 10 years. The hairdresser found love during her college years, when Rajon was doing his best on the hard court. Here are all the details about Ashley Bachelor and the recently reported incident.
Ashley Bachelor and Rondo’s love story until the terrible incident

Ashley Bachelor and Rondo had been together since 2005 – when he represented the University of Kentucky. According to reports, Ashley, a 36-year-old hairstylist, has always had a soft spot for basketball players. She even dated Sparks, Rajon’s college teammate, before him. But then the romance between Ashley and Rondo blossomed. Rajon asked her the ‘ring question’ in 2010, after which they got engaged.
As TMZ Sports reports, Bachelor says Rondo was playing video games with his son Pierre before Bachelor asked the boy to fold the laundry. Then, in a fit of rage, Rondo ripped the game console from the wall, smashing outdoor lights, a coffee cup and trash cans.
Rondo was very angry with the child. Bachelor tried to calm the situation, but Rondo threatened her with a deadly warning: “You’re dead.” Rondo reportedly left the house and returned in just 15 minutes. This time he had a gun in his hand. Ashley asked Rondo to stop but he shouted: “Go get my damn son.”

Bachelor did it out of fear of what Rondo would do next. Rondo eventually “dragged” the boy outside and asked him why he was afraid while he was still holding the gun. He demanded that his daughter go outside and verbally reprimanded both children because they were afraid of him. Rondo’s parents arrived to calm and anger Rajon, but they only succeeded in separating him from the children.

The new protection order reads: “I am very afraid for my safety and that of my children. Rajon has a history of erratic, erratic and explosive behavior. He is verbally, emotionally and financially abusive. “He physically beats our son, calls him a ‘p***y’ and accuses him of acting like a ‘slut’.”
The report also states that Rondo calls his daughter “Thot, bitch and shit.”
Rajon Rondo and his wild situations in the NBA

Former NBA champion Rajon Rondo is blessed with quick and handy defense, fantastic court vision, and uncanny passing skills. His basketball skills are undeniable, but his temper and behavior towards his teammates leave a big negative shadow around him. In a serious incident during the 2010 playoffs, Rondo lost control and began to berate his teammates and point out their mistakes with rather harsh words on the court. Doc Rivers, then Celtics coach, stepped in and tried to calm Rondo down. But then he stormed out of the arena breaking the video screen with a bottle in anger.

He had a similar incident with Mavs coach Rick Carlisle in 2015. Since history is not on Rajon’s side, he could be in trouble for his recent actions. The NBA is also following the case closely. To date, Rondo has not been charged with any crime or arrested.
