The Witcher season 3 plot: what will happen?
According to the official plot synopsis for Season 3: “As the continent’s monarchs, magicians, and beasts vie to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly reunited family from those who threaten to destroy it.
They discover that they have landed on a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and betrayal after Yennefer, intrigued by Ciri’s magical training, brings them to Aretuza, a citadel guarded by a dragon.
They are forced to react and risk everything to save their relationship. Given that Ciri might have the ability to return the elves to their former glory, it appears that The Witcher season 3 will delve deeper into Ciri’s destiny after season 2’s cliffhangers which indicated that The Wild Hunt wanted Ciri for its “Hen Ikeir.”
They won’t stop searching for her once the magicians and royals learn she’s still alive and what she’s capable of. In the coming episodes, there will be a frantic search for Ciri as Yennefer and Geralt struggle to keep her safe while the main trio become entangled in a grand conspiracy.
