Zara Tindall Siblings: Meet Felicity and Stephanie – Zara Tindall was born on Friday, May 15, 1981 at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, United Kingdom to Anne, Princess Royal (mother) and Mark Philips (father ).
Zara Tindall, officially known as Zara Anne Elizabeth Tindall MBE OLY, is a British equestrian and Olympian. His first name was suggested by his uncle Charles, then Prince of Wales.
She attended Beaudesert Park School in Stroud, Gloucestershire and Port Regis School in Shaftesbury, Dorset, before attending Gordonstoun School in Moray, Scotland. During his school years, Phillips excelled in many sporting activities, representing his schools in hockey, athletics and gymnastics.
Zara then studied at the University of Exeter and qualified as a physiotherapist. She is a happily married woman, married to Mike Tindall since 2011. The couple got married in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
She followed in her parents’ footsteps and began her riding career after graduating. In June 2003, she announced that she had entered into a sponsorship deal with Cantor Index, a leading spread betting company, to cover the costs of her equestrian career.
In her first four-star race, she finished second at the Burghley Horse Trials in 2003. However, she missed the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens due to an injury to her horse during training.
Tindall won individual and team gold medals on her horse Toytown at the 2005 European Eventing Championships in Blenheim, as well as individual gold and team silver medals at the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games in Aix -la-Chapelle, Germany, making her the reigning eventing world champion until 2010.
The British public voted her the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year (an award won by her mother in 1971) the same year she won her award in Germany. She was also appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2007 New Year Honors for her services to equestrian sport.
Although she won team gold at the 2007 European Eventing Championships in Italy, she was unable to defend her individual show jumping title.

Zara would have two half-sisters: Felicity Tonkin (born in 1985 after her father’s affair) and Stephanie Phillips, born October 2, 1997.
She also has a brother named Peter Phillips. Peter is a British businessman, eldest nephew of King Charles III. and 17th in line to the British throne. Phillips reportedly attended Exeter University before joining Jaguar Racing. He was married to Autumn Kelly, the marriage ended in 2021. He has two children – Savannah Phillips and Isla Phillips.
Felicity is also a married woman and married to Tristan Wade. They got married in 2015.
