Does Chara kill you?
After their death, Chara’s SOUL was absorbed by Asriel, and they shared control over a body. Chara carried their own corpse across the barrier and wanted to use their full power to destroy the humans that were attacking them. Asriel resisted Chara, which ultimately led to the humans killing the fusion of the two SOULs.
Why does Chara want to kill Sans?
After Asriel dies Chara(as a ghost) sees what the humans did to Asriel. She then wants to kill those humans but her soul is stuck in the underground. Chara doesn’t want to actually kill the monsters but since she has so much hate for the humans, that hate takes over her soul, making her want to kill everyone.
Why does Chara want your soul?
Chara wants Frisk’s soul because they don’t have one. when Chara died, Asriel absorbed their soul out of grief. When Asriel died, both of the souls were destroyed and flowey became a souless being. He tried multiple times to feel feelings by doing certain things, but was never able to.
How does Chara come back to life?
Now since they died fused Chara’s and Asriel’s soul countered each other somewhat put leaving them at 0. So the soul of determination tried to revive itself, but couldn’t thanks to Asriel’s soul countering it resulting in only Chara’s spirit being able to get revived and that her body dying with Asriel.
What happens if you don’t give Chara your soul?
Without their SOUL, the protagonist becomes a compassionless, cold experimentor who ‘plays the game’ out of curiosity to see how the characters react to your interactions with them.

Can SS Chara reset?
Chara possess a determined soul which raises their abilities but they can not load or save. Though they’re less determined than Frisk, They are still aware of the resets.
