Game setup and rules
- Gather sticks: Use a set of 40-41 colored sticks, typically made of wood or plastic
- Start the game: Hold sticks vertically, then drop them onto a flat surface to create a random pile
- Turn order: Decide who goes first, often the youngest player
- Gameplay: Players take turns removing one stick at a time without moving others
- Turn end: If a player moves any stick other than the one they’re trying to remove, their turn ends
- Special stick: The black stick can be used as a helper to separate or move other sticks
Scoring system
- Point values: Sticks have different point values based on color
- Blue: 50 points
- Green: 40 points
- Red: 25 points
- Yellow: 10 points
- Scoring options:
- Score as each stick is picked up
- Tally points at the end of the game
- Winning: The player with the highest score wins, or the first to reach 500 points
